Actually, both the variant of this smartphone is almost similar to each other. We will tell you the different both these smartphones have. The differences are in screen resolutions. Redmi 4 has FHD display with the 2.5D display. While the Redmi 4 prime has HD display with a packed resolution of 120X720Pixel.

The other difference is the processor. Xiaomi Redmi 4 has Snapdragon 625 processor, which is clocked at 2GHZ. It is an Octa-core processor. While the Redmi 4 prime has snapdragon 425 which is an Octa-Core processor. Both have same GPU’s, which id Adreno 505. Both of these variants comes with android marshmallow with MIUI8 on top of it.

Pricing and Availability:
Right now these smartphones are available only in China. There is no official word on availability in another market. Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime will be available in three colors namely Gold, Silver and Dark Grey. Redmi 4 with snapdragon 625 variant is priced at 899Yuan which is roughly 9,000INR. While the other variant which has snapdragon 430 processors is priced at 699Yuan which is roughly 7,000INR.
