Today at the Huawei Honor event Huawei launched Huawei Honor 8 Smart. This smartphone will be exclusively made in India. Huawei also launched Honor 8 and Honor Holly 3 today at the same event. So let’s have a look at the Huawei Honor 8 Smart specifications, pricing, and availability.

Specifications of Honor 8 Smart:

Honor 8 Smart has 5.2” FHD display with a packed resolution of 1920x1080pixels. It has an in-cell display with pixel density of 424ppi. It sports all metal design which looks fantastic in our opinion. The smartphone comes with Android Marshmallow with a custom skin EMUI 4.1.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Kirin 650 chipset which is clocked at 2.0. It is an Octa-Core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage. There is also micro SD card expansion slot. Honor 8 smart has single sim which has Nano sim type.

Well, it does not support FM radio but it has all other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11C, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPD/A-GPS and Infra-red sensor. It packs a battery of 3000mAH, which the company claims that it will last for 1.4days.

Now, let’s have a look at the camera department. It has 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture. And 8MP as a front-facing selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It also has a fingerprint sensor. The best part about this smartphone is it has HiSilicon Hi6402 24-bit DAC, Smart PA amplifier.
