Specifications of HTC U Play:

On the front, there is 5.2inch FHD super LCD display with a packed resolution of 1920X1080pixels including a pixel density of ~428PPI. The smartphone comes with android marshmallow out of the box with HTC sense UI on top of it. The smartphone also has HTC Sense Companion app.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Mediatek Helio P10processor which is an Octa-Core processor. The device has two options in RAM and storage – 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage. Sadly, say no to micro SD expansion slot.

In the camera department, HTC U Play comes with 16MP rear camera with OIS and f/2.0 aperture. Rear camera sports PDAF, Dual tone LED flash. There is also a 16MP front facing the camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The demerit of this device is it does not have a 3.5mm audio jack. Instead, HTC added something new known as Usonic technology. This helps better sound experience which is delivered through a built-in microphone in the earbuds that listen for sonic pulses and adjust audio accordingly.in terms of connectivity and sensors, it has all basic sensors and connectivity options a normal smartphone have inside it.

HTC Sense Companion AI:

The phone comes with an  HTC Sense Companion software that uses an AI to learn about you and offer intelligent suggestions. It learns your most important contacts and apps, and surface related notifications on the second screen. It will also advise you when to charge the phone if your schedule indicates you may run out of power before bedtime.It has HTC BoomSound audio along with four microphones that are always listening, and it can record “3D audio”, but it has USB Type­C since it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack.
