BHIM A Mobile Payment App Launched By Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The full form of BHIM is Bharat Interface for Money. Actually, this app was launched at Digi Dhan Mela camp in New Delhi by our beloved Prime Minister. The reason behind the launch of this app is to eradicate all the plastic money and to make India a cashless country. That is no one should use plastic money or hard cash.

If we take a look at the application. The application was made by NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India). And is right now available on PlayStore. BHIM is literally an app for digital payments or we can say it is your E-Wallet app like UPI (Unified Payment Interface) or USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) which helps in faster secure transactions.

The size of the app is 2MB only which is good to know. As many people might be using old android smartphones and they might have storage problems. As the size is too low then you can download and install this app without any issues.

The User Interface used in this app is so simple that even a non-techie guy use that without any hassle. As you open your app you will be asked for which language to select. Either English or Hindi. After that, it will ask permission to send an SMS and register your phone number. After the registration, it will ask you to set a 4-digit passcode, and then choose your bank.

The Process:

After setting up the whole thing, you will see an option to send money, request money using a QR code. You can even create your UPI address.  The default address will be 97381xxxxx@upi.

The Transactions:

If we speak about the limitations of transactions per day. This app will facilitate you with a maximum of 10000INR per transaction and 20000INR can be used in the 24Hrs limit. And this payment app works 24X7 and 365 days in a year. That is it works every day and every minute.

Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Catholic Syrian Bank, Central Bank of India, DCB Bank, Dena Bank, Federal Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, IDFC Bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, IndusInd Bank, Karnataka Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, RBL Bank, South Indian Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, Vijaya Bank.
