Android Users Are More Honest Than iPhone Users, Study Says

Every time there have been rivalries between android users and iPhone users. And personally, even we don’t like the iPhone or any Apple product. But still, our motive is to share information on tech so we are sharing info Apple products. Android users are more honest than iPhone users, study says.

Actually, your phone says a lot about you. It mirrors your personality. There are many studies that show, that our smartphones say something about us.

Here is the research performed by large brains at the university of Lincoln and Lancaster in the United Kingdom. At the time of research, the researchers spoke with 530 people in the year 2015 and 2015.

Researchers says

“We found that iPhone owners are more likely to be female, younger, and increasingly concerned about their smartphone being viewed as a status object”

So here it proves that iPhones are just used to show off in front of people. And actually using an iPhone changes your status in society. That’s true. But even you use S7 Edge, your status is going to decrease.

Anyhow, the researchers claimed that there is some internal stuff too.

Researchers says,

“Key differences in personality were also observed with iPhone users displaying lower levels of Honesty-Humility and higher levels of emotionality”

In the same case, Android users are more honest and humble comparing iPhone users. Android users are less likely to break the rules for the self-gain.

The whole study was done in the month of September at British Psychological society Social Psychology Section annual conference. It was published last week at journal Cyberpsychology, behavior, and social networking.

The researcher named David Ellis said:

“We expected that iPhone users would be younger and more extroverted for example”. “We also predicted that iPhone users would be more likely to view their phone as a status object.”

He further added,

“We were able to build a statistical model that, after asking people a few questions about themselves, could predict what type of phone they had in their pocket about 70 percent of the time”.
